Peace and Blessings,

My name is Dwight Dunston aka Sterling Duns. I am a West Philly-based facilitator, hip-hop artist, educator, and activist who has brought my creativity, care, and compassion to homes, schools, community centers, retirement homes, festivals, and stadiums all over the country and internationally.

I love people but not always our patterns, and am committed to uprooting the habits in myself that keep me disconnected from others and my vision for a more healed world. From a place of unapologetic hopefulness combined with 10+ years of training, schooling, and facilitation, I support individuals and groups to learn, grow, + connect, feeling and healing through.

I am a Level 2 Certified Kingian Nonviolence Trainer, a certified SEED Mediation Trainer, extensively trained in Dr. Howard Stevenson’s practices on Racial Literacy, and have additional training in a number of other modalities that support me to think about healing and wholeness in individuals and ecosystems.

How I think about my work…

Combining personal philosophy and cultivated practices + methodology (“will and skill”), I support individuals and groups to remember their values and sense of purpose as they look to move in deeper alignment with what they feel called to do in the world. Whether it’s building resiliency practices, understanding democratic decision, or rediscovering their creativity, my goal is to amplify the wisdom already present, illuminate pathways to new learning, and bring care and compassion throughout the journey.
